Telehealth Tips

Location: Block out background noise to help us fully focus. Make sure it’s free of distractions and consider headphones to block out background noise to let us both fully concentrate.

Preparation: Ask questions! You can always ask me anything about how therapy works, when you can expect change, and how to set and re-evaluate our goals. Then, relax! There’s a learning curve to teletherapy, but you may find you enjoy it as much or even more than a traditional office visit.

Reflection: Have a notebook handy so you can take notes without having to remember everything. Then, dedicate time after the session to process your experience and integrate any new insight.
